This past March, AI4M headed to the N3 Summit, hosted by NGen!
The 2026 N³ Summit brought together a diverse cross-section of Canada’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem, highlighting a clear shift from exploration to implementation across key areas such as artificial intelligence, defence, and supply chain resilience. Through strong engagement in the NGen Cluster Accelerator Network (NGenCAN) Innovation Zone, AI4Manufacturing and Canada Makes connected with industry, academia, clusters, and international partners, reinforcing the growing demand for practical tools, real-world applications, and collaborative pathways to innovation.
Key discussions emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration, the acceleration of AI adoption in manufacturing, and the emergence of defence and dual-use technologies as a catalyst for industrial growth and resilience. The NGenCAN in-person meeting and Pitch. Partner. Produce. session further underscored the value of ecosystem alignment, knowledge sharing, and partnership development across Canada and internationally.
