AI4Manufacturing and Siemens collaborate to help Canadian manufacturing realize the benefits of AI

Toronto, Ontario – AI4Manufacturing Canada is proud to announce that Siemens Canada has joined the organization as an Ecosystem Innovation Partner, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of Canada’s AI in manufacturing sector. This cooperation underscores the power of working together with industry leaders to drive innovation, knowledge exchange and the adoption of best practices in manufacturing. As an Ecosystem Innovation Partner, Siemens will be a key accelerator to AI4M’s mission in driving technology awareness and adoption through educational and networking opportunities.

“We are very excited to welcome Siemens to our ecosystem,” said Nicole Rathie, Director of Member Relations at AI4M. “Collaborations like this are vital in driving sustainable growth and technological advancement in Canadian manufacturing. Siemens’ global manufacturing expertise and commitment to industry growth through technology adoption make them an ideal partner as we work together to shape the future of technology adoption in Canada.”

In addition, AI4Manufacturing Canada is delighted to welcome David Wilson, Vice President & Country Manager, Siemens Digital Industries Software in Canada, to its Board of Directors. David will play a key role in guiding the ecosystem and will provide invaluable insights that will help steer the strategic direction of the collaboration over the coming three years.

“AI is set to transform almost every industry, and manufacturing will be at the forefront of its adoption. The ability to leverage AI in manufacturing - from conceptualisation to production to servicing - will allow manufacturers to gain deeper insights, find new avenues for competitiveness and accelerate innovation at an unprecedented pace,” said Wilson. “Our work with AI4Manufacturing Canada reinforces our commitment to bringing these tools to market and helping the Canadian manufacturing industry to not only thrive but do so with cutting edge technologies that will deliver real competitive advantage in the global marketplace.”

The three-year cooperation will kick oT with a series of events and learning opportunities designed to facilitate discussions, foster collaboration, and spur actionable advances within the manufacturing community. On Wednesday, April 2nd, David Wilson will take the stage at Canada’s Hall 17 pavilion at Hannover Messe 2025—the world’s largest industrial trade fair—alongside fellow board member Rémi Duquette, to discuss the role of AI in manufacturing. Together, AI4Manufacturing Canada and Siemens are set to create a collaboration based on forward-thinking leadership that will support the industry.
